Participants and Attendees usually bring a pot-luck dish from their native country, (does not need to be Scandinavian). It's a fun time to gather and talk about the future of the Club.  

If you are thinking about joining the club, this is a good time to come and meet the new board, and some of it's members in person.  

The Club is run by Volunteers.

Many Club positions are available and voted on at this time; We encourage new Club members to take up a new position after their first year of being a Member.  For example: Volunteering could be great for a Club Member who wants to get firsthand experience working in a social group like The Scandinavian Club of Hawaii, it has been great for many, many members.

Members vote for all the board positions and pay their membership dues for the upcomming year.
